The World Wide Web changed the dynamic of mass communication in todays society. Before the Internet existed the main for of communication was through letters. The mailing process took time to deliver the information to farther places. Another source of information they have where the news papers which informs you only of the information and current events within a small radius of where they lived. The internet helped get information world wide with only the tap of a key. Making information from all over the globe available almost anywhere in the world at any time of day or night. This lead to people all over the world communicating with each other increasing the interactions and increasing the available knowledge to people.
If the technology of the World Wide Web was available during the time period of Martin Luther Kings would have been more enabled to gain equality. The power of the internet can bring current events to every corner of the country. If Dr. King had this technology, I believe he would have lived streamed his speeches and also posed them on a social medial platform. When Posting these videos onto platforms like YouTube they begin to get millions of views and getting his message out to the public. The platform of blogging could be used as well so we could always keep exact records of the documents he wrote and see his passion and determination to gain equality.
My advice to future students about keeping a blog is to not forget about it. The blog is an assignment that isn’t very time consuming if you just sit down and do it. The blog is also very important to your grade and really does count so forgetting about a blog or two really does effect your average. When you are writing your blogs it is also important to put in the effort and do your best work in because it is an easy way to get points in the course and really is worth the time to do. Another helpful tip for the blogs is whenever you watch a video make sure you take note because they really help when you write your blogs about them, aw well as making the information easier to remember and understand
